One of the most frequent topics in our mailbox is "Why can't I register"?

People write "I've never been here before, why am I banned?".

We have long addressed this topic in "ALL USERS READ THIS FIRST", but apparently nobody does.

One of the most labor intensive tasks of maintaining this site is deleting troll & spam registrations, many with links to pornographic sites. Among the favorite targets of these spammers are Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. Hence, registrations using these addresses are not allowed on our site, otherwise we would spend the better part of our days deleting them.

DO NOT write and ask why you are banned. Answering these requests is the other part of our day. We are no longer planning to respond.
